Having transferred dozens of tapes from the same camera, I have a pretty good idea what’s normally involved. I sent the tape you transferred to you because it needed repair, the tape having broken in camera. You did a good job of accessing the video information on the tape and fro vid ing a file of same. But in two scenes there appears to be a white line down the left side of the picture. This seems to belie the “careful attention to detail” that was indicated in your numerous status communications. I`` know from my experience that, once you get the tape up and running there is little to do other than let it run—so I felt you made too big a deal of the stages and steps the process went through. I also felt the cost of the flash drive you returned the file on was very excessive. I don’t know why. In summation, I was very glad you could repair the tae and do the transfer, but made too big a deal about the subsequent process of transfer, and feel the cost was excessive. If the tape had not needed repair I don’t thin I would have used your service. As a retired person who earned his living as a film and video producer I have many 8mm and some 16 mm films to transfer, but I think the cost of transferring this one tape quite pricy, and would probably look elsewhere first (if you do film transfers) I very glad you could do the transfer and am happy to have the transfer you provided.
