My dad's mom took short home movies throughout her adult life. My folks are downsizing and I ended up with a big box of 8mm reels and no projector. While researching local companies for digitization of the film, I found Everpresent. From the initial inquiry through to the final product, I cannot speak highly enough of the employees, the vibe of the company, and the digitized footage. The only suggestion is an adjustment to the file naming practice. The file names were created based on (I think) the order in which they were digitized. This results in the reels listing/playing out of chronological order. I took a few minutes and adjusted the file names myself. It is a very expensive process, but having now viewed the films, it was worth the cost. The original reels are now properly housed and I'm looking forward to giving the digital copies to my dad at the holidays!
