I ordered $5,000 worth of ice bags for wine bottles for resale. The rep quoted me a great price, which was odd because the photo he showed me was of IceBag, a product that can only be bought from the manufacturer in France--and which were MUCH more expensive (I'd checked). I asked if he was certain he was selling me THAT specific product. Yes, yes, I've sold 60,000 of them. Later, I asked again - can you please triple check that? Because quality is critical--my business name depends on these being good quality. Oh, oh, so no, it's not that exact bag, but it's great! I've sold 60,000 of them! Okay...can you send me a sample? He has two versions shipped to me from China. One (of the SAMPLES!) has a large hole in it. So I pick the other version. (Dumb me, dumb me.) They arrive on time - all good, except I start going through the 2,500 bags individually and at least 20% of them are flawed so badly I can't sell them. I report this - no response. So I sell what I can, and hear back from my vendors that at least 25% of THOSE are now failing (leaking). I report that. No response. Needless to say, I won't trust this company again.
