I got a mat to cover my desk/sewing machine cabinet and it fit perfectly. Since it is an older wood cabinet, I wanted the Exactmat to protect if from the oils on my skin and also any potential scuff marks from pens, monitor, etc. Because it's clear, it protects without hiding this beautiful piece of furniture.
