We bought an ExactMat to cover a hope chest we use as our living room coffee table. Since it's an antique, we wanted to protect it without just covering it up. The ExactMat does exactly what we need it to do. It protects the wood, prevents damage, cushions from blows, allows the natural wood to shine through, and looks nice! Ours was a couple of centimeters off on one side, but we have it on an antique and homemade piece of furniture so the minuscule amount of space on one side not being covered isn't a dealbreaker for us. Highly recommend these mats for covering any piece of furniture you want to protect! Easy to order, easy to use, doesn't slide around, doesn't "stick" (which might cause damage to wood surfaces), and no assembly required! How can it get any easier than that?
