Product came shipped in a roll, most items like this do. It's retained some of it's rolled shape after a few days of laying on the floor, but we cleaned it and placed it on the table. We used a warm iron on a dish towel to warm the affected areas, then layed flat boards down on the towels. So far it's starting to lay flat. It may take several "treatments" to get it perfectly flat, but so far it's doing what it's supposed to - protect the table and keep crumbs out of the cracks in the wood. Great product!
