Many office chair mats are made from similar material which has a sticky feel to it, unlike this one. Ordering on the website allows custom dimensions which is very useful to my small home office desk corner. Leaving the mat in the sun to soften up and then letting it cool off on my hardwood floor made it completely flat and it remains so.
