Linda
We have been to several lounges at both Heathrow and Gatwick, and this was the least impressive so far. However, for a couple of hours, it is better than fighting for a seat in the main airport area. The range of snacks is very limited but constantly topped up, the seating was crowded, and we found it challenging to find two adjacent seats. The wifi was a good speed, and for travellers who like to drink alcohol prior to flying, you could easily get good value for money with the wide range of drinks available. Whilst we were there a particularly unruly child, about 4 years old, ran around causing havoc, whilst being nagged and shouted at totally ineffectually by its parents, which I found rather depressing, as I felt sorry for him, whilst others were clearly feeling annoyed at the disruption when they were trying to work or relax. In summary, the lounge did what it said on the tin, so I'm certainly not complaining, however if you are looking for a bit of luxuary to start your holiday, this may not be the best choice for you.
