Our flight departure time was 06.40am; we confirmed prior to booking the executive lounge that it was open from 05.00am; this opening time was also clearly stated on our booking voucher. We arrived at the executive lounge at 05.00am, the lights were off and a woman eventually emerged from the kitchen to inform us that it was not open until 05.30am, that she was just in. She was quite rude, displayed very poor customer service skills, offered no apology and failed to acknowledge that our receipt clearly stated an opening time of 05.00am. We sat in the lounge and had drinks but there was no hot food available prior to our departure. £40 did not represent value for money.
