Upon arrival, myself and my group of friends were greeted with funny looks as we were a hen party of 7 and had (inconveniently, judging by the sighs of the people behind the desk) booked serparately. I understand that there may have been issues with other hen/stag dos in the past but we were just a group of 7 friends who happened to be going away together. Immediately we felt like we were being treated like children and looked down upon. We had had t-shirts made that were not vulgar in any way and were asked to take them off, we thought that this was because there was a strict dress code but upon arriving in the actual lounge, (after me having to undress and change into a different top in front of the desk) there was a woman dressed in tight gym gear. We had been excited to come into the lounge to get our first drink of the holiday and the whole experience left us all slightly disappointed.
