We arrived at about 11.30 on Saturday the 17th September - there was no hot breakfast items left, only cold pastries but we were told that the lunch was coming out shortly. We got a beer and spirit drink and waited until about 12.15 when sandwiches were brought out. There were two types, both of which were mixed with mayonnaise ie prawn and tuna and as neither my partner or I like mayonnaise we were unable to have any. There was mushroom soup on offer, and that was it. By 1 o'clock no other food had been brought out so we left and went to the food hall in terminal 1 and purchased food there before our flight. So for over £20 each (including vat) we had one drink, a cold pastry and a couple of biscuits. Not value for money at all. The lounge was also very busy and we sat in the quiet area only to be surrounded by noise. We won't be using this facility again.
