Despite a pre-paid booking with Swissport, reception staff initially refused me admission even though I showed them by booking confirmation on my smart phone and despite them surely having my details on their system. Mr crime was I hadnt printed off the confirmation. Had to insist on seeing the manager and making a bit of scene in reception before I was granted admission. Strange how I could fly around the world on my smart phone boarding card but not get into this lounge without inordinate grief. Come on Swissport get with the progam and lets stop wasting ink, paper and electricity on unnecessary printing. Travellers often have a half-a-dozen or so pieces of paper to print out from Priority Lane to Car Hire confirmation, it would be nice to see a little leeway granted in this situation, I was hoping for a rest bite from the stress of modern air travel not a stand up argument with several members of staff. Its was especially annoying as lots of customers were being waved in after a cursory glance of a boarding card as an airline freebie.
