I would normally use my dragonpass to enter a lounge, but on this occasion I paid the additional amount for access as there was not a compatible lounge in terminal 5. In comparison to other lounges I have used, the standard was not as I had expected. The staff were not very attentive at all. There was no introduction to the lounge advising what was available, where it was and any general information. The food provided was of a good quality but was missing some items, such as bread rolls and was not replenished in a timely manner. All in all I would say it was better than sitting at the gate but considering the amount of eateries available in terminal 5, I don't think I would pay the extra next time.
