I have previously experienced the Leeds Bradford lounge which was exceptional. Fresh food brought out all the time, Fresh drinks and when I say this I mean mixers such coke, lemonade etc in glass bottle not opened 1.5litre plastic bottles in a fridge. We decided as a group of 5 to book Newcastle which is £6 more expensive than Leeds, upon arriving and going to the bar we asked where the food was to be informed we only have Soup and won't be bringing anymore until this has gone! No bread or even spoons accompanied with this either. We asked where are the sandwiches etc advertised, to be told they've all gone theres some crackers over the other side if you want them. We ordered our drinks, asked for Tiger beer, reply sorry all gone. Asked why, well we close at 7 so not restocking now! SO we ordered other drinks. Service was appalling to say the least, the time taken to be served was also not very good and you could here people around saying they wouldn't be coming back. Not a very good experience at all and compared to Leeds not even in the same league.
