In the past I have used the Executive Lounges at Newcastle Airport and Leeds Bradford Airport and been very happy with the experience - a quiet escape from the hustle and bustle outside together with a wide variety of drinks and snacks. However I was not particularly impressed with the experience in the new lounge at Newcastle Airport. I enjoyed the breakfast but, for the rest, it was noisy and cold and we left before our allotted time. As a pensioner the cost of upgrading to the other lounge would be too much.
