Upon arrival there was no record of my booking, I showed the lady on reception my confirmation booking and then she left the desk and came back about five minutes later and said there's no tables available so you'll have to sit on the small bistro table by the entrance.
I said I've paid for three hours for comfy chairs so I weren't prepared to sit there. Now it's about 15 into my 3 hours.
Another member of staff came and said there's one at the back and just pointed for us to go there. The table consisted of a low level chair which was too small to eat from the table in front of you and a high chair... So much for relaxing...
Quiet time you must be joking there were at least three tables full of rowdy hen/stags
Then there's the food bar ...I had to eat my food from my knee.... What an absolute joke.. Pasta in tomato sauce bread to make your own sandwiches and crackers with cheese squares in wrappers. Oh and we later noticed packets of crisps...
The bar... If you don't like tiger beer well then you do without or have a guinnes, extra charge for prossecco which I was aware of beforehand so thought I'd try a gin and bitter lemon only to be told they only have one bitter lemon left...
I've visited the Manchester escape before and was 100 % better than Liverpool.
Never again will I waste my money
