They didn’t. I only the booked the previous evening and planned to join friends who had already booked. On arrival I was made to feel very unwelcome and unable to join my friends. There were 6 of my friends across the lounge and other guests were shocked at how I was treated and offered for me to join them. After 30 mins or common sense prevailed and they allowed me to join my friends area.
