Normally the experience of using the Newcastle executive lounge before a journey is one of relaxation in a quiet, convivial atmosphere however while relaxation was still the order of the day on my last visit it was marred by slow access and a really slow replenishment of the hot food on offer. A significant queue developed as long periods were experienced between the sausages being replenished and, eventually, the bacon! The queue were asking the lady dispensing drinks where the missing food was but all we got by way of response was "it''s on the way". Not good enough. Someone needs to keep a closer eye on hot food levels!
