I realised upon getting to the desk that my visit was going to be a disaster. Half the lounge was taken up with Singapore airlines clients, who had the best seats for viewing what was going out and coming in on the runways.
When I was told to go to the left hand side of the desk what I observed was a cafe style setting that I wouldn't be seen in, in any town let alone at an airport. I have been in many airport lounges and this is one that I will not frequent again. No I didn't stay for food and drink - I wasn't sufficiently impressed to do so.
