The selection of food amounted to poor salad, meat, cheese, rice and a tasteless spring onion soup. The rolls were so hard they could have been used as weapons. The small sausage rolls were good! The red wine, a merlot, should be confided to cooking only. Web site suggests premium spirits might be available but there was no gin (except an empty bottle) no brandy, cheap whisky, and not much else except Bailey's! Despite mentioning no gin to staff, still nothing almost an hour later. The glasses for a long drink were beer glasses on tumblers. The lounge was quite noisy and very disappointing. Did not see any magazines, newspapers etc. Been in Aspire lounge before and very impresed, but this was a monumental rip off. Really really poor value. I could have bought better quality food and drink outside the lounge for less than half the cost. Wrote a complaint at the time but waiting for a response from lounge manager 7 days later. Executive Lounges still have the nerve to as for a review. Would I recommend it? No, no, No!
