Unfortunately i booked the executive lounge for the day after my travel date, me and my father went down to be told by the front desk at 4.30am that this could not be changed and nothing can be done. I tried to call the number provided on the email but with it being 4.30am we received no answer, i think it was a automatic voice message. I understand that i made a mistake booking the wrong day however the lack of help received and point blank refusal to allow us in (even though it had the flight details on was quite frankly appalling)
I would have been quite happy to be allowed in and pay a small fee say £5 booking charge that i had to pay to cancel my lounge booking but again to be told i'd have to pay £30 on the day to get in is madness!! That tells me there was spaces for us so why couldn't we get in?
Overall my friends said that they though the lounge was really nice, my experience was disgusting and i'll certainly not be booking up again. Or advising my friends to do so, i think because of me saying i was going in the lounge another 8/9 people were in that day!
It was quite frankly embarrassing, good customer service costs nothing and should be taken into account in situations like this. My review may have been a lot different.
