The people who checked us in were not friendly , a smile goes a long way.
The seating area (the quite area) was dirty! there was used cups , dishes left, food all over the floor/seats & side tables.
I HAD to move all the dishes, go over to the cleaning cart, that was without anyone for most of the two & half hours we spent in the lounge , I had to spray and clean the area before my family and I could sit down( Cleaning produces SHOULD NOT be left out when there are children in the lounge!).
When the two members of staff did start cleaning, it was a half hearted job.
The lady behind the bar looked like she did not want to be there, so no friendly smile ,or even eye contact at times.
The only good thing about the lounge is the food/coffee & WC, which was very clean.
This was very upsetting as it was a treat for my daughters 50th birthday before her flight(this is the first time she has used an airport lounge).
The lounge is not big, the amount of staff in the lounge should be able to keep it clean, its not free!.
I will not be using the Bristol lounge again!.
