This was our second visit this year to the lounge and unfortunately I'm not sure we will be back. There are a few issues to highlight for feedback purposes.
Firstly, the food on offer was poor - a congealed vegetable biriyani and a basic pasta with ham. Real budget offerings and to be honest I had expected more for the price.
The beer pump went off for a period whilst we were there and the table was never cleared - I had to do this myself twice, transferring plates and glasses onto other tables. The red wine tasted like cooking wine and clearly not based on quality. The lounge was also very busy, at times to bursting point. I understand that some visitors attend due to a perk to their bank account - I actually qualify for this too although I have always paid - and I feel paying customers are having their experience diminished due to this offer. There were also a number of people with small children and infants many of whom were charging about or screaming. Not ideal. I understand people are travelling with kids (we had our 9 year old with us) and clearly the facility is for all, but perhaps limiting the age or amount of children would be prudent.
I'm sorry to sound so negative, I know everyone works hard in there - I just feel that the whole experience could and ultimately should be much better than that experienced.
