The airport lounge in Birmingham was overcrowded on arrival there was no where to sit, it took us around 15-20minutes to find seating to accommodate the 3 people in the party and that involved asking no people if seats were taken and them shuffling around to accommodate us. When trying to get food and drinks the snack stations were empty, there was no crockery, cutlery, glasses or food available, even when these items were refreshed there was very limited stock brought out and everything was gone within 5 minutes unless you wanted an alcoholic drink and then you were ok. All in all you end up paying £25 per person for what amounts to a quiet seat once you are able to find seating enough for your party. We ended up paying extra, leaving the lounge early and visiting Whetherspoons and BurgerKing to get something to eat before the flight. All in all totally dissatisfied,no value for money and is misrepresented in the sales text, I tried to contact Aspire Lounges on Facebook and have had no response, I am going to post on Twitter next with my observations.
