I booked the lounge as a pre-flight surprise for my boyfriend. The idea was to have a leisurely breakfast and a few drinks while reading the papers.
I was disappointed. The range of food was limited - just a few breakfast items in bread, and cereals, there weren’t any newspapers and fizz was extra.
I’ve only been to one lounge before - at Gatwick. It was the same price a different experience and in another league. Cava was included and the breakfast included pastries, cakes, cooked breakfast and healthier choices.
This wasn’t worth £25 - at a push I’d say £10 as all I had was one beer and scrambled egg.
