Disappointed with the experience at Heathrow Terminal 5. Had pre-booked and pre-paid. Lounge was busy and we managed to secure the last table. No white wine whatsoever (ordering error apparently) and sparkling wine was restricted to one free glass before you had to pay. No cakes or biscuits. Blue cheese ran out within 5 minutes of our arrival and was not replenished. Hot food was disappointing and appeared value engineered downwards. Butter chicken rice was not as I assumed butter chicken curry served with rice but actually a dish of mainly rice with a few chicken pieces stirred through. No toilets available. No price list on display for spa treatments. Soup however was nice.
Poor value for money in my opinion and standards have dropped significantly from what they used to be. Presumably because of the free entry agreements entered into with many lounge pass and credit card memberships.
