No staff to greet us as we walked in, we waited for 2-3 minutes before just taking our seat. A member of staff came up to our table 40 minutes later to check our confirmations. The food was lacking compared to previous lounges we have visited (Luton). A lot of staff for not a lot of people, due to this I would have expected it to be a lot cleaner and the food to be replenished quickly. However, staff seemed more interested in chatting with eachother. The staff behind the bar seemed to lack basic training (getting orders wrong and adding vodka after the tomato juice). Although there was another lady there who was helping her along the way, i would have expected a basic level of knowledge and common sense to be established before being let loose. The food was poor, bacon very dry, bread falling apart in hands. Overall an awful experience, I would rather have sat in McDonald’s for the 2 hours prior to our flight. To make it worse, the reviews on trip advisor are the same if worse than my experience, some dating back months. There should be a system in place to actually make improvements. I won’t be booking again. Oh, and this review programme is for a courier service? Unprofessional to say the least!
