Our visit took place on Wednesday 9 July 2014.
The only table available had not been cleared after the previous occupants - we cleared it. We were disappointed with the lack of soft seating. The chairs were hard and upright, and suitable for dining, not relaxing with a coffee. The snacks were very limited and unappetising. We left after 10 or 15 minutes after a cup of coffee. The reception desk was unstaffed otherwise we would have provided feedback there and then.
The lift to the lounge was not working.
We went downstairs to The Bridge Restaurant, where we were made most welcome . We enjoyed good food at reasonable prices and comfortable seating.
We were pleased that we had only paid the discounted price available through The Telegraph offer. We have in the past, used a British Airways lounge at HR. This was first rate.
