We have used all the lounges at Manchester and although it was pleasant and saved us from the busy airport it was certainly the least favourite of ours.
The food was poor in comparison and has a very 'squashed' atmosphere. We certainly felt that the majority of the service was aimed at the 'Upper Class' clients.
The drink choice is also extremely limiting in comparison to other lounges.
