Lounge was difficult to find, no newspapers were available, Smiths had bundles of dailies.
When it was suggested to the staff that they go to Smiths and purchase a couple to keep going they said that they had no money to do this and when again suggested that they ask Smiths to give them a few papers and a manager when he came in would pay for them they reacted with horror at such an Idea.
