5 Stars – A Truly Memorable Moroccan Adventure! We recently completed the 11-day Morocco Grand Tour & Kasbah Route with Exoticca, and I can confidently say it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The tour started in Casablanca, and we immediately began our journey along the coastal route through Rabat and Tangier. The scenic beauty of the coastline and the charm of the various towns we visited really set the tone for the entire trip. Each location offered its own unique vibe, and we were fortunate to have ample time to explore and take in the sights. One of the highlights of the tour for me was visiting Chefchaouen, a stunning blue town tucked into the Rif Mountains. It felt like a real hidden gem, and the opportunity to walk through its narrow streets and admire its vibrant architecture was unforgettable. From there, we moved on to Fez, where we had the chance to witness the local craftsmanship firsthand, learning about the intricate art of pottery, textiles, and leatherwork that the region is known for. The entire trip was well-paced, with plenty of time at each location to immerse ourselves in the culture and history. I was pleasantly surprised by how much we were able to experience without feeling rushed. The group was wonderful—everyone was friendly and welcoming, and I made lasting friendships along the way. But without a doubt, the highlight of the trip was our night in the Sahara Desert. The experience of spending a night under the stars was truly magical. Our local guide organized a special performance around the campfire, and we had the chance to stargaze in the vast, tranquil desert—a moment we will treasure forever. The long bus journeys between destinations were to be expected on such an extensive tour, but honestly, they didn’t detract from the experience at all. The journey felt like a chance to absorb even more of Morocco’s landscapes, and the bus was always comfortable with frequent stops for rest and refreshments. However, what truly made this tour stand out was our tour guide, Mahfoud Mohamed. He was absolutely exceptional—knowledgeable, approachable, and genuinely passionate about ensuring that everyone had the best experience possible. He went above and beyond to accommodate all of our needs, and even when we had a few minor dramas during the trip (which is to be expected on any adventure), Mohamed handled everything with grace, ensuring that none of it affected our enjoyment of the journey. His dedication to making our experience as smooth and enjoyable as possible was evident throughout, and I can’t thank him enough for that. This was my first experience with Exoticca, and to be honest, I was a little apprehensive at first. But now, I can wholeheartedly say that I would highly recommend this company, especially for tours to places like Morocco where self-organizing can be quite challenging.
