I purchased two pairs of glasses for my son, the first pair took about a month to arrive, and despite taking longer than expected, they were constructed well and fairly priced. Had that been all, I would have likely rated 3-4 stars, and maybe would have tried them again. However, as noted I purchased two pairs and the second pair has still not been shipped, over six weeks later. I did contact EZContacts a few weeks ago, but never received a response. Despite their website noting “allow 3 - 5 business days for your custom lenses to be made by our optical lab” and “Some items may take 1-2 days before it reaches our warehouse” and it being just under 30 business days (over 41 calendar days), well past the 4-7 business days promised, I have still not received any notification whatsoever as to when I can expect my order, even with their statement for “Order Delays” which states “If your order will experience a delay due to a backorder, credit card verification problem, or availability problem then we will notify you via e-mail within 24 hours.” It has been well past 24 hours, and while they did charge my credit card, they still have not notified me as to the reason for the delay nor have they sent my glasses. I appreciate delays can happen, though don’t appreciate their complete lack of regard for customers, their inconsistent service delivery, and the complete lack of even a minimal amount of customer service. Thankfully I can get my purchase refunded, though can’t get back the 6+ weeks waiting for a pair of glasses that numerous other companies have.
