I came back to EZContacts because it has some of the better prices for contacts, but I found out the same day after I made my last purchase that EZContacts was having a free shipping promotion of the contacts that I purchased, but they didn't apply it to my purchase for some reason. The free shipping promotion was plastered all over the homepage, but I entered through a different page and link. Why they charged me $6.99 instead of applying the promotion, I don't know. I relooked at the site entering through the homepage, and sure enough, the free shipping was automatically applied in that case. It's frustrating when these online businesses play these games to nickel and dime people thinking that they won't find out, but all it does is create a negative feeling about the business that people will remember instead of building loyalty and positive word of mouth. I know that I don't fell good about EZContacts, and I will certainly tell people about this experience and warn them to use another site or at least be cautious and make sure that they've explored all ways of entering the site to guarantee that they get the best deal. Do you think people will want to shop at EZContact if they have to jump through these hoops and be weary about their purchase and the prices/promotions that they may or may not be getting?
