EZContacts has some of the very cheapest prices on the Internet. You get exactly what you pay for!! In the last year or so I have attempted on three occasions to do business with these people. I should’ve learned from my first mistake and never again have attempted to do business with them. About one year ago I ordered a pair of prescription eyeglasses from them. The glasses arrived with the lenses scratched and damaged. It took numerous emails and phone calls to get the glasses returned and a refund issued. I finally had to contest the charges with American Express. Given their extraordinarily low prices both my daughter and I ordered a pair of glasses from them again this year. My daughter‘s glasses took weeks to arrive with multiple glitches in shipping. I now have a pair of glasses on order, an order which was placed a month ago. About a week ago I received an email stating that a shipping label has been created, and the glasses are on their way. Nothing has happened since then, no documentation on the tracking that indicates the glasses are in the system and in transit to get to me. After an extraordinarily lengthy hold on the phone waiting to speak with customer service today they informed me that “there’s a problem and will have to contact the warehouse”. The first order from them last year was their fault, the two orders this year are my fault because I was stupid enough to try to do business with them again. I am a practicing emergency medicine physician and if I practiced emergency medicine as EZContacts practices the production and dispensing of prescription eyewear my entire career would’ve been devoted to defending malpractice lawsuits. Learn from my mistake, avoid these incompetent clowns like the plague!!
