Did a Google search for a specific Flexon Frame (only - no lenses) that I wanted. Was pointed to an (apparently outdated) web page for them on EZContacts. Put them in cart. Subscribed for the pop-up prompt discount code that was sent via email. Entered that on the page and clicked Apply and nothing happened. Tried to check out and again nothing.
Went to what is apparently their new web site. Found the frames about 15% higher price. Entered the discount code and got the message it didn't apply for these frames. Wanted to call or text to discus but it was Friday just after they closed. For the next three days, I was inundated with their emails repeatedly telling me to use the discount code and place the order.
I finally reached someone who confirmed it was an old web site. TBD if it will be reported to be taken down. Also the new price is the price and no further discounts.
I ended up making the purchase. But as I closed my search tabs, I found I had missed using a seller with a lower price than the 'new' EZContacts price. Too much trouble to cancel. As soon as I receive the shipment, I will be Unsubscribing.
