As someone who has been a loyal customer of EZ Contacts for years, it pains me to write this review because I’ve always had great experiences with their products. They’ve been my go-to for contact lenses, and I’ve recommended them countless times. However, this recent experience has left me incredibly disappointed.
I placed an order for contact lenses on January 6, and today is January 28—it looks like they’re finally being shipped. After submitting my prescription within a couple of days, I heard absolutely nothing about the status of my order. I reached out to customer service multiple times but never received a response. Over a week ago, I sent two separate messages asking to cancel my order because I could get the lenses elsewhere in just a couple of days. Still, no response.
Every time I checked the status, it just said “processing in the warehouse.” Then, without any update or confirmation, the lenses were suddenly being shipped today. In the meantime, I reached out to a competitor, who graciously overnighted lenses to me at no additional charge. Their customer service was everything I wish I’d received from EZ Contacts.
While I’ll keep the lenses from this order (if I ever actually receive them), I want to warn others: if you’re low on lenses and need a quick replacement, this is not the place to order from. Be prepared to wait three weeks or more before your order is shipped.
It’s genuinely difficult for me to write a bad review about a company I’ve been so happy with in the past, but great customer service is everything—especially when it comes to something as essential as contact lenses. EZ Contacts, I hope you take this feedback to heart and work on your communication and order processing times because I’d love to return to being a loyal customer someday.
