Not so fantastic...
I made a booking for a removals service followed by a end of tenancy cleaning the next day as I was moving house. 30 minutes before the moving van was supposed to arrive, they cancelled on me via text message. The following day, 1 minute before the cleaners were supposed to show up, they cancelled on me. On the first day, there was zero customer service - phones only went to voicemail so I was not able to speak to anyone or get any help. On the second day, one of their customer service reps at least called me to cancel - after not accepting the cancellation he was at least able to find someone 2 hours later.
I complained to Fantastic Services and they initially offered me a £20 voucher off a future service, as if I would use them after letting me down on one of the most stressful days. They refunded me for the removals service but I ended up paying double to find someone last minute. I asked for a 50% refund off of the cleaning service to make up for the overall horrible experience.
I asked for a 50% refund on the cleaning service as compensation for them cancelling my removals service and trying to cancel the cleaning.
After multiple emails back and forth, I got them down to offering £50 off the cleaning. I emailed one last time to ask about the additional £30 (to equate to 50% of the cleaning) but no response.
Not so fantastic. I'm sure this was an isolated incident but absolutely horrible customer service. I am filing a complaint with the Trading Standards Authority as they should not subcontract work and not fulfil as advertised.
