Following the instructions closely, I brewed my first successful batch of Kombucha using the Fermentaholics starter kit. I've now upsized to a 2.5 gallon vessel, which the Fermentaholics heating mat was too small to handle. It worked perfectly though in the first 1 gallon batch I did. I feel that Fermentaholics truly set me up for successful and confident brewing, and I am very grateful. The instructions were clear, easy to follow, and in line with all other research I have done, giving me full confidence in Fermentaholics as a resource and brand.
