I appreciate the price of the shoes which I purchased as it was lower than other suppliers. However, I was extremely disappointed with the quality of service and delivery. I paid an extra £6.99 to have next day delivery and this failed to happen. This was not through any fault of mine, the courier failed to call our office or my mobile number when he found the main door to the building closed. It is very clear on the outside of the building which buttons to press to call our office and I would have answered immediately. Furthermore, it was not possible to speak to anyone at Yodel and their online support service gave me incorrect information. After the courier had failed to deliver at 17.35 they twice told me I should continue to wait as the parcel was on its way.
I do not think it is right that I am charged £6.99 for a service that I did not receive, however the number for Field and Trek is never answered when I try to call it. Yet that amount was charged from my account even before I received the parcel. This is not good customer service.
