Ordered size 8.5 when they arrived the were closer to a size 8 fit.
Contacted Field and Trek because I was expected to pay the postal charges at my own expense, purely for shoes that were a poor fit. I have been an 8.5 for a minimum of 55 years.
Field and Trek said that their size guide was just a guide and not to rely on it.
Following this incident I searched another site, Amazon,who stated that the shoes and boots from Merrells do come smaller and recommended that you buy the next size up.
