The product (a Terra Nova Discovery Bivi Bag) was well priced, especially with the additional New Year 20% discount, and eventually delivered well-packaged in excellent order. When the order did not arrive, due to problems with the carrier, the customer service from Field and Trek and their carrier, Yodel, was absolutely dreadful. Field and Trek mainly seem to use an automated and pretty useless email customer service response system and have no means of direct human contact (a telephone number!). Yodel only have an expensive phone line, an email chat line that is forever unavailable and a tracking system that - once the package is with a courier - provides no means to actually track the package. Yodel's promised delivery day came and went, as did the second day. Except on the second day Yodel's courier claimed to have attempted delivery and left a calling card - a complete fabrication (err, a lie!). Finally, at that point Yodel's system gave me the courier's phone number which I duly rung; he cut the conversation short (err, hung up) and eventually sent a text. Texted my details to ensure the courier actually went to the right house and package finally delivered on third day he had it – just about in the five days Field and Trek promised. Oh, and the final personal email response from Field and Trek was that I should take up the delayed delivery matter with the courier - somehow they seem to have forgotten that my purchase and delivery contract was with them. It is a great pity that Sports Direct has absorbed the name and business of Field and Trek without its customer focussed ethos. In short, DO NOT EVER USE Field and Trek's ON-LINE ORDERING - unless, that is, you really like banging your head against the wall as the only means of masking the pain of sheer frustration.
