I had seen online that you had the best price for Brasher Supalite boots so telephoned your store at Rowsley to ask if you had them in stock. There was no reply so decided to drive over (approximately 30 miles). Naturally I was very disappointed that the store did not have the boots in stock but asked if they could arrange for a pair to be sent to me. I was told I would have to order online and I asked about delivery charges. The member of staff could not tell me what the charge would be but I mentioned that the John Lewis policy is to send free of charge to a customer any item that they cannot supply from stock at the store. This was met with disinterest! However, as your price was so competitive I decided to order online and suffer the delivery charge! I ordered the boots on Saturday evening and they were delivered sometime on Tuesday (left on front door step). So top marks for speed of delivery!
