Haven't tried out the boots yet, other than wearing them indoors to check for fit and comfort (both fine), but they seem to be sturdy and of good quality. I've not been lucky with the cheaper walking boots I've bought over the past few years - the Vibram soles splitting or flaking away to let water in, and the "waterproof" uppers being anything but - but I hope that these boots will be a lot better.
