We booked First for Cleaning as we were moving out of our flat which required a professional clean, my girlfriend met them at the property and called me as they would not start the clean without payment up front as they said that some people don't pay them, in hindsight this should have told me everything I needed to know, however I advised my girlfriend to pay them upfront big mistake!! As we had already moved out of the property they shut the door when they left and I only saw the property a couple of days later when doing the check out. They had not fully cleaned the oven, there was residue in the kitchen sink, water stains left on the glass in the shower and a few cobwebs where not dusted off. I contacted Clyde at First for Clean who rather than wanting to resolve the issues was very defensive and said that they had done what they had been paid to do. He would not offer a refund and would not even go back to the property to put right what they had not cleaned. We now have to pay for another cleaner so that we can get our deposit back. There are so many good cleaning companies out there so avoid these at all costs, they are slap dash cowboys who should be called Last for Cleaning not First for Cleaning.
