Unfortunately, you can't give zero stars...!
Guy came to our door (in Chelmsford) and we booked an appointment. He guarenteed that it isn't a pushy sale...
Next day, a different guy comes round and he spends 2 hours with us. He tells us his entire life story, unbelievably arrogant, but don't think he has any clue that his patter sounds that way!
We left him upstairs to measure a window in my son's room. The next day, my children were playing in the garden and some concrete from my son's window fell to the patio. Thankfully, no one was hurt, but extremely coincidental if you ask me, seeing as we hadn't had any problems with that before. My husband investigated and some concrete had been moved from above the window. He easily managed to reach it from the window if you sat on the windowsill. It was not like that the day before. The guy, Josh, was clearly trying to weaken it to try and get a sale out of us. If my children had been hit, they would be looking at a court case. I wouldn't trust Josh at all. A pushy salesman who has no idea what he is talking about and as far as I am concerned, he has also damaged my house.
He also gave us a quote for our back windows, but couldn't give us one for just two of them. They clearly just wanted a big job and weren't interested in smaller jobs. If we got the windows done within 9 months, we got a better deal. He then gets onto his manager who suddenly offers us £1000 off if we go for that option rather than the 2 year option. But my question is, if they can do it for that price, why not offer it in the first place? How many people have been ripped off paying over the odds when they could have got it cheaper? They care more for profit than customers. Honestly, absolute charlatans. They expected us to give them an answer then and there even though we said that we'd need to look into where the money was coming from, but if we didn't then that offer wouldn't stand.
We decide to go for thr 2 year option so we can think about it. I gave Josh my email and he never emailed the quote. So 2 hours of my life wasted, I 100% will not be using this company. If anyone from this company actually bothers to read this, I would ask that they remove my information for GDPR purposes please, seeing as they cannot be bothered to keep to their word and email a quote out.
