I purchased 3 Koi from the branch at Heighley Gate at a cost of £100. I have a pond with 2 large Koi who have been very well for over 5 years. Within 3 days one of the new Koi had died from parasite infection. The expert at Heighley Gate told me to bring in a sample of pond water which he tested. It was deemed perfect for Koi. He replaced the fish but a week later a second of the new fish died. The replacement fish is now dead too. I have treated my pond with bacteria and parasite treatments and just hope my 2 large Koi survive. This has been extremely distressing.
