I've shipped many flags before and it has NEVER cost me anywhere near $18... Maybe it comes with insurance or something? But it really cuts down on the "cheap" aspect of the marketing scheme. Also, unlike other comparable flag providers, there's no option to calculate shipping costs until the very end of the checkout process... Overall it comes off as a little deceptive. I've heard it's still a good product though, and the design tool was very useful.
