No matter how many times you edit the back side of the banner the system automatically generates a new image when adding to the cart. I tried to edit, unsuccessfully, 7 times to get what I wanted. Instead I had to change the entire design so the reverse image would fit correctly on the banner. Not super happy, but I guess I got some roadside signage.
