I tried out several different samples and I found the materials to be high quality and very sturdy, and very easy to lock together, with a water tight seal at the seams. However, everyone in my house agreed that the surface of the material feels too rough on your feet, both with bare feet and in socks. I had read some other reviews about the surface feeling like a fine sandpaper, and I agree. This would be an excellent product if the surface was smoother and better feeling under your feet. We ended up buying Pergo and love the feel of the surface, though it's clearly a flimsier product than the flooret. Unfortunately the plastic sandpaper feel of flooret was a deal breaker for me. If it was in a business where everyone wears shoes, itd be great.
