Booked ticket from London-Sydney and asked them if I was able to transit through SFO, they said 'yes no problem, you will not be exiting, only waiting in Business class lounge'. Lufthansa who was responsible for flight said the same thing.
Arrived at airport and was denied boarding. When I contacted them they told me it was my fault for not checking.
Stranded in an airport for days. Then got sick.
